ARV
Also known as After-Repair Value
The estimated value of a property after planned renovations are completed.
In plain English
ARV estimates what a property will be worth once planned repairs and improvements are finished — a key number for investors and renovation-loan lenders deciding how much financing a project can support.
Why it matters
If you're using a renovation loan, your lender bases part of your financing on the ARV, not just the home's current as-is value.
