A sale where the seller won't make any repairs, regardless of what an inspection finds.

In an as-is sale, the seller isn't offering to fix anything or provide credits based on inspection results — you can typically still inspect and cancel under a contingency, but you generally can't negotiate repairs.
An as-is listing doesn't mean you should skip the inspection — it's actually more important, since it may be your only chance to fully understand what you're taking on.
